The Schaerer Showroom is becoming the SEB Professional Experience Center: For more than ten years, the showroom on the top floor of the Schaerer headquarters in Zuchwil near Solothurn has led visitors through the world of the coffee machine manufacturer. Now the entire space has been completely renovated and fits into the showroom concept of the French Groupe SEB, which Schaerer has been part of since 2016. The new SEB Professional Experience Center shines in a modern industrial style and at the same time create a cosy atmosphere that invites guests to linger over a delicious cup of coffee. At the same time, it offers a high level of flexibility for different uses and present technologies, innovations and service concepts from Schaerer as well as global coffee trends in examples of application scenarios. An important part of this was and is the Schaerer Coffee Competence Centre. This centre provides customers and partners with the extensive knowledge needed to prepare coffee and set machines. As part of SEB Professional, Schaerer will also exhibit coffee machines from the WMF Professional Coffee Machines and La San Marco brands as well as devices from Zummo and Pacojet.

Multifunctional space

Meeting space for employees, customers and visitors as well as a place to experience innovation at the same time: The newly designed SEB Professional Experience Center is set up in such a way that it offers the ideal space for a wide variety of events, even if they take place at the same time. After the renovation, for instance, the new large meeting room has enough space for training sessions or presentations with up to 30 participants. The separation of the spaces allows for customers to visit to the machine exhibition and for employees to meet in the café area in a relaxed atmosphere at the same time – and without disturbing each other.

In addition to its current machines range, Schaerer is also allowing a peek at innovations that have not yet been launched in the Experience Center. The digital concepts will also be presented in a self-explanatory manner. At the same time, Schaerer is presenting its extensive range of services in a separate section. If trainings are taking place in the SEB Pro Café or in the CCC theory area, this space will simply be partitioned off. The advantage of the redesign is clear: Customers will have the unique opportunity to experience the flexibility and different uses of Schaerer coffee machines in practice, while the space itself will remain as versatile as possible.

Corporate architecture underlines the Schaerer brand identity

Where white surfaces used to dominate, visitors to the new Experience Center can expect a cosy, modern atmosphere with an industrial style. Wooden floors, anthracite-coloured furniture, warm lighting and other design elements already in use in the trade fair booths will create a cosy yet modern ambience. Since the Experience Center opened at the beginning of the year, visitors from all over the world have had the chance to dive into the world of Schaerer in Zuchwil.
